Five cemeteries in Aberdeenshire contain in total 6 Polish war graves. The cemeteries are- 
 

The Grove Cemetery, Aberdeen

Dyce Old Cemetery

Fraserburgh Cemetery

Longside Cemetery

Cairnbulg and Inverallochy Burial Ground, Rathen.

The cemetery is located off the A96, along Mugiemoss Road and south of Persley Bridge.

The cemetery is not on the town map of Dyce but can be reached via Kinaldi Road and through the entrance to the quarries from where it is well sign-posted.

The cemetery is located at Cemetery Road (B 9033 to St Combs) on the southern outskirts of the town, off the A92 to Aberdeen.

Longside lies to the west of Peterhead along the A950. The cemetery is located outside the village.

Rathen lies south of Fraserburgh on the A92.

The cemetery is located in the St Vigeans area of the town, off Montrose Road.

The cemetery is located of Southesk Street (A933) and close to Brechin Infirmary.

The cemetery is off Barry Road and north up Pitskelly Road.

Located of Elliot Road in the western part of the city and close to the Royal Victoria Hospital.There are in total eleven Polish war graves contained in the cemetery, three of which are Navy and eight Army.  Five of the Army graves belong to soldiers of the 1st Medium Artillery Battery  (1 dac) which was based in Dundee. Ships of the Polish Navy also operated from Dundee.

Located NW of the town between the Brechin Road and Montrose basin.

All the casualties belong to the Polish Air Force - seven to members of a Flying Training School and one to 307 Sqdn.

por pil.  Recorded in the Polish Register of 1952 and in the

CWGC Register.  At the time of his death he was serving in the Air Transport Auxiliary (ATA). The ATAs func­tion included the ferrying of aircraft from factories and maintenance units to the squad­rons and storage units.  The Commission records that during the whole war period 156 members of the ATA lost their lives.  The ATA was formed in 1940.
